The Kid
Hi, I’m Robin—welcome to my website! After graduating with a degree in human geography, I knew I didn’t want to just settle down in my hometown. Instead, I set off to see the world, and teaching English turned out to be the perfect way to make that happen.
The Adventurer
My first job took me to Japan, and since then, I’ve been lucky enough to teach in amazing places like South Korea, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, South Sudan, Ethiopia, Kuwait, Thailand, and the UK. Along the way, I gathered a wealth of experience both in the classroom and as a content creator. Now, I also teach students online from all around the globe.
Most recently, I worked with the Ministry of Energy and Mining in Sudan. But with COVID-19 and regional conflicts, I shifted entirely to online teaching—and found a real passion for it. That’s what inspired me to create this website: I wanted to provide quality, engaging learning experiences no matter where my students are.
The Author
Along the way, I began writing for English language learners and eventually authored the Anglo-Christian series of graded readers. These books are designed to educate, entertain, and edify upper-intermediate English learners. My hope is to help you build your vocabulary, grammar, and reading fluency, while exploring the English language, history, and culture from a Christian perspective.
